OPTREL e670 offers both techniques. In "manual" mode the turning knob allows for a continuously variable adjustment of the shade level from DIN 9 to 13 from the outside.
The activation of the "automatic" mode offers him the following advantages:
Fully-automatic adjustment of the shade level between DIN 9 to 13 depending on the measured light intensity of the arc, option of fine tuning or customizing this automatic adjustment by +/- 1 shade level. Operations and adjustments are easily accessible and mounted on the Satellite, outside of the helmet – no annoying tip inputs. The adjustment minimizes the influence of surrounding bright light or when welding adjacent to other welders. It also allows for more sensitivity in low amperage applications.
The "Delay" switch allows for adjustment of the dark to light switching time according to the individual requirements. Special filters provide protection against UV- and IR rays. The durable curved cover lens, equipped with an elastic seal as well as the ergonomic shell care a safe work free of reflections. The proven solar cell technology ensures the power supply. No on/off switch and no battery change are necessary.
The OPTREL e670 welding helmet is usable for the following welding applications:
shielded metal arc welding, MIG/MAG, high melting rate process, flux core arc welding, TIG and plasma arc welding.
